Vespucci apartment, Testaccio-Garbatella, Rome

This wonderful and characteristic apartment reflects the atmosphere of the neighborhood.
Once the home of a famous artist, she left a number of her works behind giving the apartment an unmistakable feel. There is a master bedroom and a double bedroom with two single beds for a total of up to four people.
There are two bathrooms and a large living room with a fully equipped American kitchen, sofa and dining table.

It is located on the ground floor facing a delicious courtyard inside the building with entrances on Via A. Vespucci and Lungotevere Testaccio.
It is within easy reach of all the most important monuments: Colosseum, Circus Maximus, the Roman Forum, the famous market of Porta Portese and the green Aventino hill.

Located south of the Aventino hill and on the left bank of the Tiber, Testaccio retains its genuine spirit as opposed to many other areas in the historic centre which have lost the familiar and picturesque flavor of authentic Rome. Testaccio is something of "a town inside a city" having retained a rustic simplicity that makes it a personal and welcoming place to stay.

This famous district is also well known in Rome for a very special reason, for here, during the Thirties, the Roman soccer team had its first, mythical football pitch… "Campo Testaccio"!
