Fully equipped apartments. Complete with bed linen and bath towels.
Minimum stay in our apartments is 3 days.
Prices
Each apartment has a price, dependint on its extent (spaciousness), location, services and season. That rate is set by days, weeks or months depending on the duration of their stay and the number of occupants. The price also includes accommodation, the cost of water, gas and electricity. The final price includes the costs of cleaning service at the end of the period. The rates include all taxes and VAT.
Children less than 2 years old do not pay, plus possibility of providing a cradle in the apartment if this option is available and with previous petition.It is striclty forbidden to accommodate more people than those indicated in the reservation of the flat. Booking
Once the availability of accommodation has been confirmed, to make the reservation, you must make a payment by credit card, the amount equivalent to 20% of the total price. Once the reservation has been made and paid for, the client will not, in any case, be refunded.
After paying the reservation, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the booking. Ten days before the arrival, our company will send you another e-mail to inquire about the estimated time of arrival, number of beds (to provide an adequate amount of sheets and towels) and giving you the name and contact details of the person who will meet you at the apartment.
Cleaning
Before your arrival, our cleaning team will work carefully in the apartment leaving them clean towels and sheets. Our company will check the apartments after they have been cleaned to make sure they are entirely satisfactory.
The cleaning service is obligatory and the prices vary between 40 and 60 euros depending on the size of the apartment.
Delivery of keys
Our staff will meet you at the apartment at the time agreed by e-mail, you will be given a copy of the keys to the apartment and explanations on how to work the electrical appliances, facilities and rules. At this moment, you will be required to pay the remaining amount for your stay (by credit card or cash), as well as a deposit (only cash).
Note: If you wish more than one set of keys, it would have to notify in advance by email and pay 50 € as a deposit (returned at the end of the stay).DiagonalFlats reserves the right to ask for a deposit, as security for the apartment, in order to cover any material damage to the flat produced by the occupants. Important: Disturbing the neighbors, or receiving complaints from them, due to excessive noise during your stay will be considered reason enough to hold back the deposit.
Stay and check-out
Throughout your stay, you may contact one of our employees for any enquiries or eventualities on our 24 hour customer care line.
Note: The displacement of our staff in the rented apartment, for unjustified of neglicence of the customer, as for example forgetting the keys inside the apartment, you will be charged 20€ to cover travel expenses. On the time and date agreed for check-out, our staff will meet you at the apartment, and, after checking the state of the apartment, will return the full deposit to you.
Rules
You may check into your apartment from 14:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m. It is not usually possible any earlier as check-out is at 11:00 a.m., and the flat must be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. For check-in after 21:00 guests will be charged extra:
- Check-in after 21:00 will have to pay an extra 25€
- Check-in after 23:00 will have to pay an extra 40€
Extras must be charged as our staff has to move out of their working hours.
- Payment of the full price of the rent will be in cash or by credit card the moment you check into the apartment. Postponements are not accepted, and we would thank you for having the exact amount ready if possible.
- Check-out is from 8:30 to 11:00, if you wish to delay check-out you should let us now in advance, and we will try to make it possible, as long as there are no clients waiting to check in on the same day. For check-out after 11:00 and before 15:00 you will be required to pay an extra 25€.
- Failing to check-out at the agreed time will be penalized with the payment of 50€. If you wish to change check-out time you must let us know in advance.
- Even though we have our own cleaning personnel, the guest is obliged to leave the apartment in good conditions before departure.
- If the apartment has a sofa bed, make an adequate use of it. If you wish to use it as a bed, please use the ground sheets. If the sofa gets stained, 50€ must be paid for cleaning expenses.
Cancellation policy
In reference to cancellations, we have established penalizations depending on the notice given:
- Notice given 15 days prior to arrival: the reservation will not be refunded.
- Notice given, less than 15 days, we will charge 50% of the rent on your credit card.
- If there is no cancellation, you will be charged for the totality of the rent.
Apartment rules
- Please make sure you don't forget the keys in the apartment if you go out, and, most importantly, please don't leave them in the inside lock as in this case we would have to break the door in order to open it. This last eventuality could cost you a surcharge of 100€.
- The main gate of the building must be closed and locked when you leave the apartment.
- The garbage should be daily removed and placed in containers. In the center of the city (except for recycling and organic garbage) there are no containers and the garbage is collected, from door to door, every night between 20:00 and 22:00. In the event that your apartment is located in the center of Barcelona, you will have to deposit the garbage on the street between those times.
- If you need to use the intercom, be sure to press the right number to avoid disturbing the neighbors.
- The neighbors' rest must be rigorously respected, for this reason you must reduce the noise after 23:00 while you are in the apartment and as well in the common areas of the building.
- Please listen to the music and television to a volume that does not disturb the neighbors.
- We ask you to be especially careful when your are closing the door of the apartment.
- We consider important to mention that disturbing the neighbours is a very delicate issue for which we are not prepared to make any concessions. Tenants who fail to respect these rules will be asked to abandon the flat immediately and will receive no refunding on the total amount paid for the stay.
- Remember to turn off electrical appliances and the air conditioning every time you leave the apartment.
- In reference to animals, it is essential you ask for an authorization prior to arrival. You will be required to pay a deposit of 100€, refunded at the end of your stay after checking the state of the apartment.
Bad behavior inside and outside of the allowed schedule caused by noises, parties and inconvenience to other guests will suppose to loss the deposit paid on the arrival.Important additional information
DiagonalFlats will not be responsible in the eventuality of burglary or robbery in the apartment.
BE CAREFUL WITH THE TAXIS: Some taxi drivers may try to cheat you, so take the following information into consideration:
- A taxi from the airport into the centre of Barcelona costs from 20 to 35€, you should refuse to pay more.
- From the train station or bus station to your apartment, between 5 and 15 €.
These prices already include the fees for the luggage, as well as night rates. Once in the taxi the counter must be turned on and you must pay only the rates that appear on the counter. Do not listen if the taxi driver told that the place where you go is not certain, and offered to bring a better place.
